Happy Friday everyone!! I hope you've had a fabulous week! Any plans for the holiday weekend?? Feel free to share with me! Today I have a sneak peek of a card I'm working on. It was a "dry run" to see if I liked this technique. I'll be sharing the completed card this weekend (if I can't finish it today). I used Helping Me Grow from Stampin UP along with the basic black archival ink pad, Dapper Denim marker, Sweet Sugarplum marker, Emerald Envy marker, watercolor paper, and a water brush.
Don't forget! I'm INACTIVE with Stampin UP until March! Save your pennies for the upcoming Sale-a-Bration!! I'll be back in time for you to enjoy the sale! I will continue to post projects though so keep your eyes peeled. ;-)
Hugs
Rachel

Christmas Junk Journal
Happy Monday! Thank you for stopping by! This is my latest junk journal. The cover is made from heavy duty file folder and I sewed around the perimeter with a beige thread. It has gusseted pockets on the inside front and back covers. The journal measures 11" x 5". Quite a tall and narrow journal, was super fun to make!
There are 3 sewn in signatures which measure 11" x 4.25". Perfect for adding 4x6" photos or a few smaller photos per page.
The front cover has an image from Ephemera's Vintage Garden. The kit is called Yuletide Roses and can be found here. I framed the image with some silver toned bling.
I used a lovely red gingham ribbon with crochet ruffled trim. This ribbon is on both the front and back covers. The paper line I used is from K&Company.
The closure is a red satin ribbon that can be found in my etsy shop here.
Here is what it looks like completely open. Once it is filled with photos, it can be displayed this way during the Christmas season!
Thank you so much for stopping by!! If you'd like to see a walk through of this journal cover to cover, here is the video.

Stampin' UP! Christmas Cards
Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping by! I have managed to make a few cards the last couple of nights. Very pleased with how they turned out. :) I used the Holly Berry Happiness stamp set and the Holly Berry Builder Punch. All 4 are standard sized cards; 4.25" x 5.5".
Supplies needed to make these cards: (some items I used are not SU, but I've listed the SU substitute). Designer Series Paper was a clearance item a few months ago.

Christmas Tags and Box
Hi Everyone! Getting very close to Christmas, aren't we? So that means swaps and projects! So here is a tag set I made for a swap with a box to house them.
The stamp set I used is from Stampin UP! and it's called Holly Berry Happiness. I used the coordinating punch called Holly Berry Builder, which punches out the leaves as well as the red bow. The ink colors I used are Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, and Emerald Envy.
The oval dies are from Spellbinder. The cardstock is from Recollections from Michaels. The pattern paper was a gift and I don't know where it's from.
The leaves and bow are outlined with a Sakura Gelly Roll pen.
A complete 2 part tutorial is on my you tube channel. Here is part 1......
