Heart Pillow

Now that my swap partner, Suziecrafter10, has received her heart, I can share the heart that I made for her here!  This was the first heart pillow I've ever made, and I had so much fun making this for her.  I am in Suzie's Facebook group called Suzie's Design Studio 2012.
What you see is a heavy wool felt as the base of the heart with a very wide 5" lace all the way around.  All of the flowers are handmade.  The fabric ones are made from costume fabric and the paper ones are both watercolor paper and stampin up cardstock.
The pearls are individual pearls that I strung together and then sewed onto the heart.  There is also strung pearls (that I bought like that) sewed on as well.

Thank you for stopping by!  I will have a video up tomorrow on this heart as well as the heart I received from Suzie!  Hugs!!!

Satin Roses I Made

This is a handmade rose I made using costume satin.  I assembled this rose using individual petals.

This one is a rolled satin rose.  Watch my you tube videos to learn how to make them!

Vintage Tag

This is a 4x8" vintage tag I made for a swap with Suziecrafter10 on You Tube.  She also has a blog.  This tag was made with 4 layers of Recollections Craft Cardstock, glued together with a wet glue.  The patterned paper is from K & Company, as are the acetate butterflies.  All of the flowers I made and colored, except for the tiniest flowers, which are Prima.  The laces and seam binding I colored using Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads. A link to my You Tube video on this tag is located at the bottom of this post.

Valentine's Day Bouquet

A Peek Inside My Winter Mini...

Good morning beautiful peeps!  I hope it's a great day so far.  Some flurries this morning but nothing to get excited over.  I don't know what's going on this year but winter has been disappointing so far!  Rain one day, snow the next.  The ice has been terrible, making errands rather scary! lol!

I have a couple more pics of my winter mini to share.  Hopefully this weekend I will have the video posted as well.  I have it recorded; I am just waiting for the recipient to receive it first.

This is the first couple of pages.  The snowflakes are made using dies from Spellbinder.  The pocket on the top page is made using a Martha Stewart deep edge punch (snowflakes).  More deets to come and the video should be up this weekend.  Thanks for stopping by and visiting me today.  Have a wonderful day!  Hugs!!!
