Stamp Storage

Do you have hundreds of non-SU stamps and have a difficult time storing them all? They take up a ton of space! Well here is what I do with my stamps....I purchased plastic paper keepers from my scrapbook store (when we had one). I believe they hold at least 100 pages. I got large pieces of foam core board from Michaels or an art supply store, and cut them to 12x12. I slid them in to the plastic sleeve and then I grouped my stamps into categories; like Valentine's Day or Christmas, or Birthday, etc. I can slide the mat board in and out of the sleeve with my stamps on it and they don't move around or fall to the bottom of the sleeve. As you can see, you can store a lot of sleeves on one shelf. Here I just have plastic milk crates that I purchased from Staples and stacked them on their side to make shelves. Eight sleeves fit nicely and they are all catergorized! Yay! I also have frequently used stamps like sentiments in these drawers.....I got them inexpensively at Walmart. I actually have 4 of them filled with differen't things; stamps, Cuttlebug folders and dies, templates, embossing powders, scrap paper, and anything else I can fit in them! This shelf I keep on my desk so it's easy to reach. The others I have placed around the room on other desks.

Ribbon Spools

Look what I made with empty toilet paper rolls and my scallop circle punches! Ribbon spools! I plan on hanging them on some wooden dowels. The center hole is punched out with a 1 1/8" circle punch. I glued the scallop circles to the toilet paper roll with diamond glaze. They are holding up great! I plan on making more colors this weekend, so I will be posting those as well!

Punch Holder

Hi Everyone! Having a nice weekend so far? Sorry I haven't posted in a while.....haven't had any pictures to put up until now! My husband and I put up some dowels in my craft room to hang my punches on! I love it! I used to have them in a canvas shoe holder that hangs on the door but I like this much better! I finally have some of those mega punches that everyone raves about! I love those too! :)

Christmas Card Keeper

I don't know what else to call this besides a keeper. If you're like me, you keep all those cards that people send to you for the holidays but don't know what to do with them after the holidays are over. I thought this was a great idea to keep each years cards all together and neat! They are no longer thrown away, or stashed in the box with ornaments! Here's how I made it....

I took two large pieces of chipboard and covered them with Christmas patterned paper (front and back of each board) and then on the front I added brads and a prima flower and rub on words. I then punch a hole in the top corner of each board and then in each Christmas card. The largest card will determine how large your chipboard covers need to be. I then strung them all together with coordinating ribbon and viola! I made this one two years ago and now I have to make this years "keeper."
